We often reflect on our good fortune to have had the advice of the Financial Services at the AMP Society in the years prior to our retirement. We assiduously put as much as we could into our combined superannuation fund and when retirement arrived some ten years ago, we were able to travel somewhere each year, either within Australia or overseas.
In 2012 we made the decision to buy a caravan and took twelve months to travel the whole perimeter of our wonderful country. We had wonderful adventures and met amazing people and had no idea just how beautiful this country is! In 2014 we again took our caravan, this time exploring the Eyre and Yorke Peninsulas in South Australia and travelling via the Barossa Valley to the Murray River Mouth and then along the Great Ocean Road to Melbourne, staying also in Torquay, Ballarat, Bendigo and Echuca. We slowly travelled the length of the Mighty Murray westwards to Morgan and then visited the Flinders Ranges before returning to Perth. We have just returned from a visit to South Africa, visiting the Kruger Park before flying to Cape Town where we stayed in Somerset West, Blouberg Strand and Bettys Bay. The Cape Peninsula is indeed a beautiful area and the mountains spectacular. We are so thankful to have placed our trust in Provident and to be in a position to fully enjoy these years of retirement.
